Hardeep Singh Kohli, writer, broadcaster and Celebrity Masterchef finalist, is planing a cookery book with a difference on crowd-funded publisher Unbound.co.uk

A Month of Sundays will chart his journeys over the next nine months as he answers culinary call outs from people around the country. Readers can makes suggestions to Hardeep through the Unbound.co.uk website. Each week he’ll make the journey to cook up a feast for the most interesting ones, serving up delicious food in homes, workplaces, village halls and sports grounds across the UK.

Romantic dinners for two, village feasts, boardroom lunches, street parties, post-match curries, family reunions and birthday suppers, all suggestions will be considered – the more unusual the better. The location, the menu, the guests will change; the only thing that will remain the same is the cook.

All of the journeys, meals and people will be recorded and turned into a beautifully-bound Unbound book bearing the names of all those who pledged to make the book happen. Featuring 100 illustrated recipes, A Month of Sundays will be a record of 31 happy meals and 31 memorable occasions.

Hardeep Singh Kohli says:

“I love the relaxed ‘Sunday lunch’ vibe. And I love cooking comfort food for people, making them full and happy, while we chat about what they eat and what it means to them. Tell me why I should come and cook for you – the madder the better! Publishing with Unbound allows me to interact with the book’s readers as it is written; I look forward to sharing my journeys with them all. ”

Readers can pledge support at different levels in exchange for a variety of rewards, from including signed and personalised first edition hardbacks, tickets to Hardeep’s ‘chat & curry’ live shows, or accompanying Hardeep on one of his culinary adventures. 10% of all pledges will go to support Shelter from the Storm, London’s only free homeless shelter (sfts.org.uk).

Further details of how to pledge and send in your suggestions can be found at Unbound.co.uk
